Run Away

I want to run away from here,
Run so far no one will catch me,
Run so far the wind won't touch me,
Run so far you'll never find me,

This world just keeps throwing everything in my face,
I can't take it anymore,
And all I want to do,
Is to run so far away it won't throw anymore,

I'll take that picture of us,
Where we're smiling at the sun
And holding hands as it sets,
Your warmth the only thing I can feel,

You must understand why I'm doing this,
Don't blame yourself,
When I'm far away from you,
Nothing was ever your fault,

I want to run away from here,

Run so far that your only a memory,

They talk about me behind my back,
Calling me all sorts of names,
And telling my little sister,
Not to end up like I did,

But my mistakes made me who I am,
And I don't regret a single minute,
Of the life I went on to lead,
So don't listen to what they say,

Go on and be who you want to be,
The path I chose isn't an easy one,
And it's not the path you should take,
Your path is much brighter that mine ever was,

Run so far that you'll forget who I ever was,
